I submitted this photo to Style Snaps, which I don't know why I did it since my camera quality isn't very good plus I didn't know what I was doing at the time other than trying on some of the clothes I bought recently. I am seriously in love with my black wedge platforms which I bought at H&M in Liverpool during my trip to Europe and it only costs me £19.99! It's so practical that I could wear it with anything I own in my closet. But knowing me, I'd only wear it during big occasions or on a night out. I'm more of a 'feet on the ground' type of girl.

Oversized knitted sweaters are great for this Fall/Winter season. It's sexy, chic and most of all practical. I'd don it with denim shorts on a cool day. Tucked in or wear em' out or spot on the 'too cool for pants' look. For a more classy way of wearing it, pair with a pair of denim jeans or some leather pants to spice things up a bit. Overall, the oversized knitted sweater is a must have for every women. Pick em' in beige or black to avoid looking like you're wearing a knitted sweater for Christmas.

I did mention about going to the launch, right? Well the ones that were on display weren't exactly exciting and I think they didn't hold the event quite well, because honestly, I could organize something better (just saying). I went to the store just two days ago and I they added some new pieces on the racks. And I fell in love with 2 of them. I can't resist mesh bodycon dresses! They're just alluringly sexy and chic. I also love the black leathered studded dress. The ones I posted on this page are my favourites out of the collection. Other than that, it's just too girly with the frills and florals and all that.

Was offered a job as a dresser for a fashion show but too bad it collided with the date of my London trip. Gained a lot f experience today as I learned more than 1-2 things about fashion. I also had my first attempt at sketching a design today! I was aiming for a couture nightwear with a side bare mid-riff but I guess my drawing wasn't that good to help you visualize it. Imma try and sharpen my skills and try set a moodboard. Wish me luck!

Summer's around the corner! In Malaysia, we experience Summer 24/7 (minus the rainy days of course) and that's why I love our country. But experiencing Summer in a foreign country is rather exciting, don't you think? Imma keep my body fit before June because I'll be enjoying (Insyallah) my Summer break in London! We'll be flying off to Paris and Barcelona too. Barcelona is where we'll be spending our days by the beach. Let's just hope there'll be cool beach parties there too!

I finally got to wear my Jeffrey Campbell inspired boots during my two darlings, Nabihah and Ara's surprise birthday party at The Apartment, The Curve. Got our own little spot where we celebrated both the birthdays and our own freedom of college life for four months. A speech was made by our very own London gal, Ili and we toasted the night away to friendship and love. We may not be 18 anymore but our love and bond for each other is still as strong as it was 4 years ago. We are blessed. Amin.

Attended the Topshop Dress Up launch at Suria KLCC with a very close friend of mine. Didn't bother to dress up since it was only Suria KLCC, which is FYI, was only 5 minutes away from my place. We were expecting it to be something big but it wasn't. They just displayed a few pieces from Toshop's new collection 'Dress Up'. To be frank, the designs aren't really eye-catching. It just blended with some other pieces. If they didn't put up the 'Dress Up Collection' sign, we would've missed it. The only thing fun there was the cake pops and the DJ. I was pretty impressed with the cake pop idea though. I love cake pops especially the ones I see on Bakerella. I bet it's going to be the next 'In-Thing'. *sigh*

We bailed on the launch early and watched Priest instead, btw (which was AWESOME).

I've never considered myself as a true fashionista, stylista or whatever you call it. But I like nice things. Nice clothes and accessories. I usually wear what I like, even if it were last week's shirt lying on the floor. I don't bother with what people might think of what I wear. As long as I feel like I look great and I'm comfortable with it, I turn a deaf ear to people's comments. You should always remember to not forget about what you like and what you want to wear. Make sure that you're confident that you can pull of what you're wearing. Other than that, screw others. Fashion is about making your own rules. Style is personal.

Even since I was a little girl, all I've ever dreamed about is getting the chance to be invited to glamorous events, getting the opportunity to meet and be noticed by people who matter and not forgetting to also give something extravagant in return. I've never wanted to be famous just because I seek fame. Absolutely not. I want people to know me based on my capabilities and what I can do. I want people to realize my full potential. I want to be the person who matters in a society. I don't want to be a celebrity, socialite or whatever that people are chasing after this days. When people say my name, I want them to think about my abilities, potential and talent. I am not the type of person who markets herself just because I want people to know who I am. I'd rather people know what I can do instead of approaching people with the wrong intentions. I want to contribute to the society, to the nation. But how can I do that?

I am looking for chances and opportunities. Anything. I am willing to work hard for it. It's about time a door opens up for me. I just need somebody to show me the right way. I am going to earn every invitation and passes that I'm gonna get later in life. I'm tired of waiting for someone to come to me. I'm gonna find a way to get to them. Thing is, when life shuts many doors to you, should you just carry on or is it a sign saying to just stop because it is never going to work out? It's something to ponder about, isn't it?

Living in Malaysia has disabled me from getting my hands on certain designer items. Even if they have them here, I'm not even certain that I could afford them. So typical me, I search for ways, by hook or by crook to own at least an 'inspired' piece in my wardrobe. And alas! I have found my treasure chest. I paid less than half the price of an original piece which really, my father needs to thank for (his credit card has always been my favourite thing to victimize). The above photos are some of the collection I have, presently. I have always had a thing for boots for ever since I can remember. The thing about boots is that they give a certain edge but still classy kind of flavour to a look. Every girl needs at least a pair of black basic ankle boots in their closet. As for me, I've already got 8 pairs of em'.

Summer is my favourite season, ever. Living in a tropical climate myself, wearing down is all we could ever do during the day. Keep it light, keep it fresh. There are so many pieces of clothings that could be matched and mashed to achieve the perfect balance of simplicity. When it's hot especially for us living in Malaysia, I say dress down. You'll be happier just putting on something you could find lying on the floor than some pair of leathered leggings that your legs just can't breathe in. Anybody could dress up. It's when you dress down is when you know your true level of style.

It's Summer and it's about time that we show off some skin and colours. Denim shorts are all the rage now. Ranging from ripped to acid wash, shorts is what we need this Summer. The versatility of denim shorts could be worn both during the day and night time. Pair it with a cute floral top or a plain one and add some ankle-high boots to make you look edgier. At night, a hot sheer blouse and some amazing platforms would definitely turn heads.
