First attempt

Was offered a job as a dresser for a fashion show but too bad it collided with the date of my London trip. Gained a lot f experience today as I learned more than 1-2 things about fashion. I also had my first attempt at sketching a design today! I was aiming for a couture nightwear with a side bare mid-riff but I guess my drawing wasn't that good to help you visualize it. Imma try and sharpen my skills and try set a moodboard. Wish me luck!

Summer's around the corner! In Malaysia, we experience Summer 24/7 (minus the rainy days of course) and that's why I love our country. But experiencing Summer in a foreign country is rather exciting, don't you think? Imma keep my body fit before June because I'll be enjoying (Insyallah) my Summer break in London! We'll be flying off to Paris and Barcelona too. Barcelona is where we'll be spending our days by the beach. Let's just hope there'll be cool beach parties there too!

I finally got to wear my Jeffrey Campbell inspired boots during my two darlings, Nabihah and Ara's surprise birthday party at The Apartment, The Curve. Got our own little spot where we celebrated both the birthdays and our own freedom of college life for four months. A speech was made by our very own London gal, Ili and we toasted the night away to friendship and love. We may not be 18 anymore but our love and bond for each other is still as strong as it was 4 years ago. We are blessed. Amin.

Let's play dress-up

Attended the Topshop Dress Up launch at Suria KLCC with a very close friend of mine. Didn't bother to dress up since it was only Suria KLCC, which is FYI, was only 5 minutes away from my place. We were expecting it to be something big but it wasn't. They just displayed a few pieces from Toshop's new collection 'Dress Up'. To be frank, the designs aren't really eye-catching. It just blended with some other pieces. If they didn't put up the 'Dress Up Collection' sign, we would've missed it. The only thing fun there was the cake pops and the DJ. I was pretty impressed with the cake pop idea though. I love cake pops especially the ones I see on Bakerella. I bet it's going to be the next 'In-Thing'. *sigh*

We bailed on the launch early and watched Priest instead, btw (which was AWESOME).

Saw these pair of ring boots everywhere within the likes of Miu Miu to Jeffrey Campbell. I could've sworn I saw Mary-Kate Olsen wore the same pair but the Sam Edelman boots she owns is slightly different. But Rumi Neely's is quite similar to mine. I contemplated for a little while because I own so many boots that I haven't even worn yet but this...This I GOTTA have. Dreams do come true, ey?
